Truck Mounted Impact Attenuator Training

The Truck Mounted Impact Attenuator Training is a comprehensive program designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate truck-mounted impact attenuators effectively and ensure the safety of road construction zones. This course covers both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical exercises to equip attendees with the expertise needed to handle impact attenuators with confidence.

 

New York Requirement

Operators of vehicles equipped with TMIA may be required to have specific qualifications, including a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for the appropriate vehicle class.

Specialized training on the operation and deployment of TMIA might be mandated. This could involve training on proper setup, positioning, and emergency protocols.

CEU Requirements 

  1. 100% attendance for the Truck Mounted Impact Attenuartor Training courses
  2. Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form
  3. Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor)
  4. Completion of required pre-and post-quiz assessment
  5. As applicable, achievement of minimum passing score on required end-of-course examination
  6. Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)
